Bonnie and I went to the Spokane Quilt Show. I didn't know these events were so expensive. How much fun it was, though, to visit about every quilt show in the state in one room. Well, actually three big rooms.
This was where all my money went. Now I need more time to sew it all together!
Part of my purpose was to find some material to back a baby quilt and a larger quilt. Eventually it was all found. Do you think the brown polka dots match this wild quilt? Is it too wild for a baby quilt?
The third fun part of the day, behind visiting with Bonnie and spending money, was viewing lots and lots of quilts from other people. This one above shows a quilt I have no desire to make. Those little squares are like a quarter inch square. Who cuts those squares?
This is a picture dedicated to my children. For Nick, Whitni and Marissa, and Lindsea and Travis. See I can hold the camera out and almost get us both in the shot. Happy quilting everyone!

YES MOM! You finally took a picture of yourself! :D It looks good, I'm proud! I'm glad you had fun and spent lots of money.
NICE JOB MOM!! You look gorgeous!! I am glad you had fun!
Nice post. I couldn't help but notice the last pix wasn't with your "new" camera phone. xoxo
Okay your new quilting blog never showed up on my Blog....I wonder why. I still have Stahicken or how ever you spell it. My true opinion. Any thing goes as far as baby blankets. As long as the material looks good together you can make them out of any color or fabric. I wish I was there at the show with you . How fun is that! Love you and happy quilting.
It didn't show up on mine either, but I am glad to see a quilting post.
Thank you ladies, but I'm assuming Dale must have said something. RaeAnne
So jealous here! And I LOVE the bright baby quilt. I've always wondered why everything for babies is done in pale colors when it is the brights and black/white combos they always seem to stare at!
This blog didn't show up on my computer either. Glad I went on your blog anyway. I like the brown dots. Keep on quilting.
I love the picture at the end mom! I didn't know you updated your blog either, or I would have read this a long time ago. I want that quilt...
